Art.1 — ORGANISATION
The ASD Abruzzo Runners club, in collaboration with Colledimezzo City Council and Pro Loco di Colledimezzo Association, is organizing the second edition of "ColleTrail. Memorial Rosario Romele" running race. The path is partially on road and off-road and its total length is 11K. The race has been approved from CSEN and the event coordinator is Diego Carrea.
Art.2 — COURSE DETAILS AND PRELIMINARY INFO
The route starts from the village and goes along road SP 216, then becomes steeper on the trail part, close to Butino hill, then coming back to the village via a steep trail. 10 km, with a drop of 425 mt. circa. Along the route, you'll find signs and Organisation committee members to assist in your run experience. The Start is at Piazza Vizioli in Colledimezzo village center and is at 09:30. All runners have to get their race number on time before the race: collection point will be open from 08:30 to 09:15. Runners who arrive at the collection point later than 09:15 will be excluded from the race. The collection of the number and the finalization of the registration will take place in Piazza Vizioli. The Finish will be in here too, therefore all participants can park in the village.
The organizing committee reserves the right to change the race route, suspend the race during its course or to cancel it, to change the departure time for majeure cause and/or for logistical and safety reasons. In case of cancellation, the registration fee will not be refunded in any way and no charge will be made to the organization as the race event will be rescheduled. The organization committee recommends wearing road running shoes (trail or trekking shoes are not ideal), as the course, off-road has a very dry and hard surface, therefore, will be similar to a road running.
Art.3 — REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Italy residents can register for the race if are minimum 16 years at race day (for the adult race) and provide a medical certificate of suitability for sports competitions valid at the date of 11 July 2021.
All athletes who are enrolled in a FIDAL affiliated sports club or other EPS (Sports Promotion Agency recognized by CONI) can register too.
Foreign countries residents can register for the race if are minimum 16 years at race day (for the adult race). They are required to provide medical certificate only if their country of residence laws require to do so to participate in sports competitions.
Registration can be made online at www.colletrail.com, or via the e-mail address: infocolletrail@gmail.com. When required, the copy of the medical certificate can be uploaded to the appropriate upload section during registration on the website www.colletrail.com or sent to the main email address. The organizing committee reserves the right not to accept more registrations on the day of the race if the maximum number of participants (equal to 150 people) has been reached in the days before the race. Furthermore, for organizational reasons, the finishers goody bag is guaranteed only to those who register by 23:59 on 10th July 2021.
For sports clubs affiliated with FIDAL or another EPS recognized by CONI, it will be possible to send the PRE-REGISTRATIONS of their members by 11:59 pm on Saturday 10th July 2021, by sending the list of athletes at the e-mail address: infocolletrail@gmail.com.
Art.4 – REGISTRATION FEES
The registration fee is 5€/runner.
The payment can be made by credit card / prepaid and PayPal directly online at www.colletrail.com. In case of payment by card/PayPal, no additional cost will be charged. The ColleTrail organizing committee will take management costs. By registering for the ColleTrail race, the participant is entitled to get the race number, assistance along the route, refreshments at the finish line and a food/drink token for the evening party.
The organizing committee reserves the right to change: participation fees, registration procedure, payment methods, and to change or remove the discounts associated with PRE-REGISTRATION for groups of sports clubs, without any prior notice.
Art. 5 – MEETING POINT, START AND RESULT TIMING
Meeting point for participants is at 08:30 on the day of the race (11 July 2021) at Piazza Vizioli, Colledimezzo (province of Chieti). Start of the race is set at 09:30 from Piazza Vizioli in Colledimezzo. At 09:15 runners can attend the Warm-up session with music and fitness coach at the start line.
Participant chip or net times greater than the event time requirement (2 hours) will not be recognized as official. The organizing committee, for security reasons and for the best outcome of the event, can change the departure time and the maximum time required to reach the finish line.
Art.6 — DRINKING STATIONS
There will be 2 drinking stations along the course with glasses/bottles of water. We advice runners to bring running water bottle with them for the race.These will be identified in the route map published on the website www.colletrail.com. The organizing committee reserves the right to change the number and location of refreshments without prior notice.
Art.7 — GOODYBAG AND AWARDS
The race goody bag will be given to participants at the Finish and will be guaranteed to the first 150 registered participants (or in any case to all registered by midnight on July 10, 2021). When collecting the race number at the collection point, the organization committee reserves the right to request a valid identification document.
ColleTrail will see the following athletes rewarded:
- the first 3 male athletes and the first 3 female athletes of the general classification;
- the first 3 athletes and the first 3 athletes of each category.
The categories are as follows:
1. MW16 (16-19)
2. MW20 (20-24)
3. MW25 (25-29)
4. MW30 (30-34)
5. MW35 (35-39)
6. MW40 (40-44)
7. MW45 (45-49)
8. MW50 (50-54)
9. MW55 (55-59)
10. MW60 (60+)
The athletes awarded at the general classification will not be able to participate in the category awards.
Art.8 — RACE NUMBERS CHECKS
All athletes must place, clearly visible, the race number on their chest. The organizing committee reserves the right to carry out checks at any other point of the route, without any prior notice.
Art.9 — WEATHER CONDITIONS
The organizing committee reserves the right to make last minute changes in order to eliminate potential hazards or conditions of serious discomfort for the participants. Any changes will be communicated to the participants and reported by the staff. The organizing committee also reserves the right to suspend or cancel the race in the event that the weather conditions put the safety of the participants and/or rescuers at risk.
Art.10 — INSURANCE
The organization has liability insurance for the whole duration of the event.
Art.11 — IMAGES RIGHTS
With the participation at ColleTrail event, the participants from now on expressly authorize the ColleTrail organizing committee to the free use of images, fixed and/or moving to retract their person during the event. The present authorization to use one's own image must be intended for an indefinite period and without territorial limits all over the world, for use in publications, brochures, leaflets and various films, including, but not limited to, materials promotional and/or advertising and made on these supports. Furthermore, the organization may transfer its utilization rights under this agreement to third parties, its institutional and commercial partners.
Art.12 — DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
By registering for the race, the athlete declares that is aware of and accepts the rules of the 3rd edition of "ColleTrail - Memorial Rosario Romele", published on the website www.colletrail.com and that he has turned 16 years old on the 11/07/2021. Participant also declares under his own responsibility, not only that he/she has declared the truth (article 2 law 04/01/1968 n ° 15 as modified by article 3 paragraph 10 law 15/05/1997 n ° 127), but that he/she exonerates the organizers from any liability, both civil and criminal, for damage to persons and/or things caused by or to participant and to be in possession of all the requirements indicated in art. 3 of these terms and conditions.
Art.13 — PRIVACY POLICY
Personal data, which are mandatory for registration, will be processed by the ColleTrail organising committee in accordance with the privacy code, with paper and / or electronic means for the realization of the sporting event and the services connected to it, for the preparation of the ranking with publication on our website, for the sending of informative / informatic material of informatic type (for example newsletter, exchange of communications via email) and / or paper. The data may be disclosed to third parties for the fulfillment of the obligations related to the event or for the purposes indicated above. At any time, by contacting the organization of the event, you can exercise the rights referred to in art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (cancel, rectify, integrate, etc.) to the data controller of the organizing committee. Regarding the consent to the use of personal data, the signature on the paper registration forms or the computerized consent during the registration on the Internet at www.colletrail.com shall prevail.
Art.14 — OTHER
The organizing committee reserves the right to modify this regulation at any time in order to guarantee the best organization of the competition. Any changes to services, places, and schedules will be appropriately communicated to registered athletes through publication on the official website www.colletrail.com and the Facebook page of the event: www.facebook.com/colletrail.colledimezzo/ or ASD Abruzzo runners facebook page www.facebook.com/abruzzo runners.asd
